Why Air Duct Cleaning?

air duct cleaning

According to the National Air Duct Cleaning Association (NADCA), up to 40 pounds of dust is created on an annual basis through everyday living in an average six-room home. This dust is then pulled into the HVAC system and re-circulated 5 to 7 times per day. Over time, this constant re-circulation causes a build-up of contaminants in the duct work, with the heating and cooling system essentially acting as the lungs of your home. As professionals, we highly recommend getting your air ducts cleaned once a year to improve air quality within your home.

You might be wondering if you are in need of an air duct cleaning.  Well, a few ways to check would see if there is excessive dirt and or debris on the supply registers or cold air return. Also, if you have had any recent construction work done it would be a good idea to get your vents cleaned. This is because the construction dust can make its way into your ducts. And then that dust is being re-circulated through your home 5 to 7 times per day.

Another fun add-on is to get your dryer vents cleaned as well. This will help the overall efficiency of your dryer and prevent any potential fire hazards.
